Blueprint Partners, a corporate finance boutique dedicated to European technology and media companies, announces its 12th transaction in the Enterprise SaaS sector. The €5.3m funding round was structured by Blueprint Partners, advisor to the company, and was carried out with CM-CIC Innovation and Turenne Capital. It was supplemented by A Plus Finance, a long-standing investor in the company.
Training Orchestra, the European leader in Integrated Training Management Solutions, advises its clients on improving their performance, relying on a solution that covers the entire training process: financial, legal, administrative, commercial, operational control, and portal. The company, which employs 45 people, manages and optimizes more than €1.5 billion in training budgets per year worldwide for over 300 clients and 1.5 million users (Continental, Nikon School, Areva, EADS, Epame Formation, Johnson & Johnson, Van Cleef & Arpels, etc.).
By supporting Training Orchestra in its international development, this operation aims to establish a global leader in Training Management Software by capturing new market shares, notably in the American market. Currently, the company generates over 85% of its revenues in France and aims to achieve more than 75% of its turnover internationally within 4 to 5 years, including 30% in the USA. Moreover, the existing commercial network is intended to be expanded.
“This fundraising – structured by Blueprint Partners – allows us to accelerate our international development, our investments, as well as the recruitment of additional sales forces in the United States, where we already have offices, clients, and partners,” said Stéphane Pineau, Co-Founder and CEO of Training Orchestra. “We are also looking to expand our product range to continue innovating and develop the most advanced features in the training industry, which will allow us to create even more value for our clients,” added Laetitia Nourry, Co-Founder and General Manager.
“Training Orchestra, driven by a team of experts, has demonstrated its ability to forge prestigious strategic partnerships with global HRIS leaders,” explained Stéphane Simoncini, Investment Director at CM-CIC Innovation. “The maturity of the French regulatory environment has enabled the construction of an evolutive and adaptable offering, with real functional depth that makes sense for international development,” added Cyrus Contant, Investment Manager at CM-CIC Innovation.
“We were impressed by the team led by Stéphane Pineau and Laetitia Nourry, as well as by the quality of Training Orchestra’s positioning. Companies lack efficient tools to manage face-to-face training. Training Orchestra, a true ERP for training, manages and optimizes the entire process to perfectly address this need,” added Charles Bourgain, Investor at Turenne Capital.
“Having worked on numerous Enterprise SaaS deals, we were immediately convinced by Training Orchestra. Firstly, because of the significant and tangible benefits delivered to its clients, whose satisfaction is reflected by very low churn and high customer lifetime value. And most importantly, because of the top-tier team that has defined a clear and transparent strategy for its partners, thus securing its growth in Europe and the United States,” emphasized Marc Chancerel, Partner at Blueprint Partners, who thus completes his 12th transaction with Enterprise SaaS companies, after previously advising sector leaders such as KDS (acquired by American Express), Leadformance (acquired by Solocal), and more recently Linkfluence, a leader in social media listening.
