Ensweet, the Lille-based healthtech startup led by CEO Fabien Watrelot, today announced the successful closing of a €3 million Series A financing round to speed up deployment of its innovative at-home cardiac rehabilitation solution for cardiologists and their patients.
The round was led by Mutuelles Impact alongside XAnge, with participation from AG2R LA MONDIALE, Nord France Amorçage, 50 Partners, Finovam Gestion, Good Only Ventures, makesense and IRD INVEST. Blueprint Partners - Europe’s leading corporate finance advisor for venture- and growth-stage tech startups - served as financial advisor to Ensweet.
Ensweet’s solution enables patients to continue cardiac rehabilitation from the comfort of home following a cardiac event. It combines a wearable heart-rate sensor, a dedicated mobile application, and specialized equipment to guide patients through personalized exercise programs under the remote supervision of their cardiologist.
“Our ambition is to support 60,000 patients annually in resuming their rehabilitation after a cardiac event,” said Fabien Watrelot, CEO of Ensweet. “Today, 70 percent of post-infarction patients lack access to cardiac rehab, even though it’s proven to save lives.”
“This fundraising will enable us to change scale: strengthen our solution, accelerate our deployment throughout France, and open up our service to independent healthcare professionals.”
